Stopped in for brunch and was lucky enough to get Darius as our waiter. He had an extensive knowledge of both the food and cocktail menu and he was so personable from the time he greeted us. We ordered the lobster Mac egg rolls and for my entree, I had the Southern Comfort...and just as Darius advised, it did not disappoint. It was hot and fresh and everything was seasoned so well! It was literally a party in my mouth! I can't wait to come back and try something new!

Really cool atmosphere, the catfish sandwich and potato's were great. Good service. Make a reservation because there usually is a wait unless you can get a seat at the bar.

Flavor Hills offers such a calm environment, and the service team is always professional and polite, so it is ideal where you can unwind. I always have the house salad, buffalo sauce wings, and fries as a side order, and the food is always delicious, which I really like. The other items at my table that I've had the chance to try include the Salmon Orleans, fried green tomatoes, and their fried chicken dish with mac and cheese and greens--all of which were fantastic. Definitely a solid spot for a satisfying meal!

Visited on a Saturday while in town for a concert. We arrived around 1130 great time bc it got really busy after. Seated at bar bc all tables were reserved. Ordered the mimosa flight which offered four flavors. I will say the bartender was not stingy with the champagne. Initially she was alone working the bar which made the wait a while but once more staffed showed up it was a steady flow of service. For brunch ordered the catfish and grits which comes with collard greens. Also added a side of Mac and cheese. The food was hot and amazing! A friend said the same about the shrimp and grits and Hennessy chicken and waffles. Will definitely visit this spot again. Worth making a reservation if you'd prefer a table or booth.

Soooo much has changed since my first visit to Flavor Hills. What hasn't changed is the way they continue to have me in a chokehold with their scrumptious ass food Despite their flaws with time management and constant changing of staff I keep coming back. On the food front, they rarely disappoint. Going on weekends during peak brunch hours pack a snack and be prepared to wait for wash at feels like forever (their biggest flaw). But if you come prepared and don't mind the wait, they are 1000000% a must try. While you're waiting on your plate visit my girl Alexis (the best bartender/person to ever step foot in there ‍), SHE gone get you right everytime Food (when it eventually comes) and drinks always a missile. Embarrassed to admit it but I'm definitely a "regular" atp

I arrived around 11:35am on a Saturday morning in a party of two for brunch. We had reservations. We were promptly greeted by the host upon arrival. Getting seated was delayed as other two staff had prioritized sharing a picture and conversing vs seating us. After being seated, it took 7 minutes for our waitress, Nunu, to greet us. She did say she didn't see this orange pad that was on the table to indicate it was her table. She was very friendly and went over what was popular. This was my second visit and my date's first visit. We were told it would be 20 minutes to receive food when we order as the food is cooked to order. The music was the perfect volume, to me, when we arrived. However, after about 5 minutes, it got loud. I felt that I had to talk loudly in order to communicate with my friend. My friend said the volume was typically for brunches, especially when they lived in DC. I will note, that the music was a whole vibe; great selection and songs. The volume fluctuated from being perfect and loud throughout. My friend and I got a mimosa flight to share with pineapple, mango, guava, and passion fruit juices. This was ordered at 11:47am. We received it at 11:51am. We were ready to order them but the flight was just dropped off and she left. Additionally, I think they should label the flights so we know which flavors are what without having to guess. Waitress finally returned at 12:04pm where l placed our order. I got the chicken and waffle. I also got a side of breakfast potatoes. My friend got the "from the south" but got yams vs the collard greens. Apparently, there is an issue with the consistency of how the greens are cooked. The table beside us said it was too salty and they didn't eat theirs at all. Our food came at 12:20pm and it was delicious. We throughly enjoyed the food. The chicken was perfectly crispy! Overall, pretty decent 2nd experience. Waitress' attentiveness slacked off midway through up until we left. I would return.

We visited Flavor Hills in downtown Raleigh to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, and overall, it was a good experience. The service was impressive our server was on top of everything, especially with refills, which we never had to ask for. I ordered the catfish and grits, and it was delicious! The collard greens underneath the catfish were a unique twist and complemented the dish perfectly. I also appreciated that they had a kids' menu, which made it easier to find something for my son ,a rare but thoughtful touch at brunch spots. Brunch isn't really my thing, so I'd like to come back and explore the dinner menu next time!

Visited this place with my family for brunch on a Sunday. All the reviews were good so expectations were high. We arrived around 11. It was pretty empty when we arrived. The crowd arrived around noon. Parking: available on the street (street parking is FREE on Sundays) Reservations: Highly recommended Service: our waitress was not very helpful when it came to helping with the menu. My order : Catfish and grits 5/5 the catfish was seasoned perfectly and it was delicious. The grits were tasty but I could've used a little more sauce on the grits. the collard greens under the catfish were a little sweet but the flavors worked with fish and grits. I would definitely order again. The space is a decent size but it will get crowded fairly quickly. Mac &cheese : 2.5/5 It was okay. I wouldn't order it again Cornbread-2/5 the cornbread was not good in my opinion. It tasted more like an almond cake. I wasn't a fan of the flavors for this. I didn't care for it. I tried the cheesesteak scramble 4/5 . I liked the combination of spices and the sauce was delicious. It's worth ordering Overall, I rate my experience a 4/5. The food was good for the most part. There were a few misses on the flavor (insert pun) lol However, the menu is large and there are plenty of options. I highly recommend a reservation on a Sunday. Our waitress could've been more helpful but I still enjoyed the restaurant. I would recommend a visit.
